Weather:

In Costa Rica we can distinguish two seasons:

-Rainy season or wet season: It is in winter from May to November.

-Dry season: It is in summer, from December to April.

* Sea turtle nesting season:

-Nancite Biological Station, Santa Rosa sector, Guanacaste: Lora Turtle. Spawning from July to November. They can arrive between 5000 and 8000 turtles per night.

* Whale watching season: The best place for observation is the part of the Pacific, and the areas with the most possibility of seeing whales are the Marino Ballena National Park in Uvita, and the Osa Peninsula area, in places like Corcovado, Drake Bay, and Golfo Dulce. They can also be seen in Quepos, Manuel Antonio, Tambor, and Peninsula Papagayo, in the Murcielago Islands sector. Humpback whales migrate through the region between July and November and then again between December and March.
